With that we’ve naturally been crafting salt from the waters that sustain us, honouring the purity and connectedness of these special places.

Just picture one of us jumping onto the dive platform with a stainless steel bucket to be filled with the waters we play in.. taking that bucket to the backdeck cooking station to fill up a pot that is ready and waiting.. to take that pot into the saloon on top of the diesel stove.. from there the water slowly evaporates until the salt crystallises and just before it gets too dry (and explodes all over the diesel stove resulting in a couple of hours of cleaning.. ) it finds it's way onto a tray to dry out naturally before taking a scenic helicopter flight back to Te Anau to be placed into the little silver container you're holding onto.

This salt is more than a gift—it’s a symbol of gratitude, a reflection of the shared experiences that unite us, and a way to celebrate the beauty and resilience of the world we are privileged to call home.
